Bryce Courtenay

"Sometimes the slightest things change the directions of our lives, the merest breath of a circumstance, a random moment that connects like a meteorite striking the earth. Lives have swivelled and changed direction on the strength of a chance remark."

Arthur Bryce Courtenay, AM was a South African-Australian advertising director and novelist. He is one of Australia's best-selling authors, notable for his book The Power of One.  He was born on 14 August 1933 in Lebombo Mountains, Eswatini, and died on 22 November 2012 in Canberra, Australia.
