Sue Townsend

Susan Lillian Townsend FRSL was an English writer and humorist whose work encompasses novels, plays and works of journalism. She was best known for creating the character Adrian Mole.  She was born on 2 April 1946, in Leicester, United Kingdom, and died on 10 April 2014  in  Leicester, United Kingdom.
